Ad hoc-Notification pursuant to Section 15 (1) WpHG

Local Court of Schweinfurt informs that a suspension of the procedure to
register the deletion of the 90% clause is intended

On 31 July 2013, the Local Court of Schweinfurt informed RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG
of its intention to suspend the procedure for registration of the deletion
of Section 17 (4), 1st sub-paragraph of the articles of association
resolved by the Annual General Meeting on 12 June 2013 (the 'Amendment')
until the final decision on the actions for voidance (Anfechtungsklagen)
filed against the resolution of the Annual General Meeting. A final
decision of the Local Court is not yet available. Even in case of a
suspension, this would in the opinion of the Company not allow to draw
conclusions regarding the result of the actions for voidance pending
against the resolution of the general meeting to amend the articles of
association.

In case the court should decide to suspend the procedure for registration,
the court's decision may be challenged by the Company by way of an
immediate appeal (sofortige Beschwerde). The Company will decide on the
filing of an immediate appeal in case the court actually issues a decision
to suspend the procedure for registration.
