Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, Melsungen, Germany, Ludwig G. Braun GmbH & Co.
KG, Melsungen, Germany, Prof. Dr. h.c. Ludwig Georg Braun, Germany, Martin
Lüdicke, Germany, and Ilona Braun, Germany, notified us pursuant to section
25 para. 1 WpHG of the following:

1) On 14 October 2013, B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG exceeded the
threshold of 5% and 10% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM
Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale,
Germany. On that date, B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG held 10.98% of the
voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 15,172,376
voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 10.98% (equals 15,171,376 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is based on (financial /
other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 0.001%
(equals 1,000 voting rights) is held indirectly (chain of controlled
undertakings: B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft; expiration date of the
instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG: 22 December 2014).

2) On 14 October 2013, BraHo Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH exceeded the
threshold of 5% and 10% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM
Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale,
Germany. On that date, BraHo Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH held 10.98% of the
voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 15,172,376
voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 10.98% (equals 15,171,376 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is based on (financial /
other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 0.001%
(equals 1,000 voting rights) is held indirectly (chain of controlled
undertakings: B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG, B. Braun Melsungen
Aktiengesellschaft; expiration date of the instruments pursuant to section
25 WpHG: 22 December 2014).

3) On 14 October 2013, Ludwig G. Braun GmbH & Co. KG exceeded the threshold
of 5% and 10% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
Ludwig G. Braun GmbH & Co. KG held 10.98% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 15,172,376 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 10.98% (equals 15,171,376 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is based on (financial /
other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 0.001%
(equals 1,000 voting rights) is held indirectly (chain of controlled
undertakings: B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG, B. Braun Melsungen
Aktiengesellschaft; expiration date of the instruments pursuant to section

4) On 14 October 2013, Prof. Dr. h.c. Ludwig Georg Braun exceeded the
threshold of 5% and 10% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM
Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale,
Germany. On that date, Prof. Dr. h.c. Ludwig Georg Braun held 10.98% of the
voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 15,172,376
voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 10.98% (equals 15,171,376 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is based on (financial /
other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 0.001%
(equals 1,000 voting rights) is held indirectly (chain of controlled
undertakings: Ludwig G. Braun GmbH & Co. KG, B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co.
KG, B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft; expiration date of the

5) On 14 October 2013, Martin Lüdicke exceeded the threshold of 5% and 10%
of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1,
97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Martin Lüdicke held
10.98% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising
from 15,172,376 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 10.98% (equals 15,171,376 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is based on (financial /
other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 0.001%

the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1,
97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Ilona Braun held
10.98% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising
from 15,172,376 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 10.98% (equals 15,171,376 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is based on (financial /
other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
