Notification according to section 26 para. 1 WpHG 

On 27 July 2012, UBS AG, Zürich, Switzerland, notified us pursuant to
section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the following:

On 24 July 2012, UBS AG fell below the threshold of 3% of the voting rights
in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale,
Germany. On that date, UBS AG held 2.72% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 3,755,394 voting rights.

Of these voting rights, a proportion of 0.58% (equals 808,100 voting
rights) is attributed to UBS AG pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no.
1 WpHG.
