Notification according to section 26 para. 1 WpHG 

On 16 July 2012, UBS AG, Zürich, Switzerland, notified us pursuant to
section 21 para. 1 WpHG and pursuant to section 25 WpHG of the following:

 1- UBS AG notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the
    following:

On 11 July 2012, UBS AG exceeded the threshold of 3% of the voting rights
in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale,
Germany. On that date, UBS AG held 3.96% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 5,472,400 voting rights.

Of these voting rights, a proportion of 0.90% (equals 1,240,454 voting
rights) is attributed to UBS AG pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no.
1 WpHG.

 2- UBS AG notified us pursuant to section 25 WpHG of the following:

On 11 July 2012, UBS AG fell below the threshold of 5% of the voting rights
of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale,
Germany. On that date, UBS AG held 4.43% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG (equals 6,117,400 voting rights).

From these voting rights a proportion of 3.96% (equals 5,472,400 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 0.47% (equals 645,000 voting rights) is based on
(financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting
rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of
0.00% (equals 0 voting rights) is held indirectly. The exercise period of
the instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG is at any time.
