KG, Melsungen, Germany, Prof. Dr. h.c. Ludwig Georg Braun, Germany, Martin
Lüdicke, Germany, and Ilona Braun, Germany and B. Braun Melsungen
Aktiengesellschaft, Melsungen, Germany notified us pursuant to section 25a
para. 1 WpHG of the following:

1) On 25 November 2013, B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG exceeded the
threshold of 15% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, B.
Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG held 15.08% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 20,847,714 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 14.00% (equals 19,345,714 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 1.09% (equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is based on (financial
/ other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 1.09%
(equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is held indirectly. In addition, a
proportion of 0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is based on
(financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG. From the voting
rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG a proportion of
0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is held indirectly. The instruments
pursuant to section 25a WpHG are sold put options ('Verkaufte
Put-Optionen') with expiration date 22 December 2014 (chain of controlled
undertakings: B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft).

2) On 25 November 2013, BraHo Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH exceeded the
threshold of 15% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
BraHo Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH held 15.08% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 20,847,714 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 14.00% (equals 19,345,714 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 1.09% (equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is based on (financial
/ other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 1.09%
(equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is held indirectly. In addition, a
proportion of 0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is based on
(financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG. From the voting
rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG a proportion of
0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is held indirectly. The instruments
pursuant to section 25a WpHG are sold put options ('Verkaufte
Put-Optionen') with expiration date 22 December 2014 (chain of controlled
undertakings: B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG, B. Braun Melsungen
Aktiengesellschaft).

3) On 25 November 2013, Ludwig G. Braun GmbH & Co. KG exceeded the
threshold of 15% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
Ludwig G. Braun GmbH & Co. KG held 15.08% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 20,847,714 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 14.00% (equals 19,345,714 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 1.09% (equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is based on (financial
/ other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 1.09%
(equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is held indirectly. In addition, a
proportion of 0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is based on
(financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG. From the voting

Put-Optionen') with expiration date 22 December 2014 (chain of controlled

Aktiengesellschaft).

4) On 25 November 2013, Prof. Dr. h.c. Ludwig Georg Braun exceeded the
threshold of  15% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
Prof. Dr. h.c. Ludwig Georg Braun held 15.08% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 20,847,714 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 14.00% (equals 19,345,714 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 1.09% (equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is based on (financial
/ other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights

5) On 25 November 2013, Martin Lüdicke exceeded the threshold of 15% of the
voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1, 97616
Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Martin Lüdicke held 15.08%
of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from
20,847,714 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 14.00% (equals 19,345,714 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 1.09% (equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is based on (financial
/ other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 1.09%
(equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is held indirectly. In addition, a

6) On 25 November 2013, Ilona Braun exceeded the threshold of 15% of the
voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1, 97616
Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, B. Braun Holding GmbH &
Co. KG held 15.08% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft
arising from 20,847,714 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 14.00% (equals 19,345,714 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 1.09% (equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is based on (financial
/ other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights

7) On 25 November 2013, B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the
threshold of 15% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, B.
Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft held 15.08% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 20,847,713 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 14.00% (equals 19,345,713 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 1.09% (equals 1,501,000 voting rights) is based on (financial
/ other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 0% (equals
0 voting rights) is held indirectly. In addition, a proportion of 0.001%
(equals 1,000 voting rights) is based on (financial/other) instruments
pursuant to section 25a WpHG. From the voting rights based on instruments
