London, UK, Morgan Stanley Group (Europe), London, UK, Morgan Stanley
International Limited, London, UK, Morgan Stanley International Holdings
Inc, Delaware, USA, and Morgan Stanley, Delaware, USA notified us pursuant
to section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the following:

1) On 11 June 2012, Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc exceeded the
threshold of 3% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite
1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley &
Co International Plc held 3.94% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG
arising from 5,449,714 voting rights. Of these voting rights, a proportion
of 0.06% (equals 83,000 voting rights) is attributed to Morgan Stanley & Co
International Plc pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.

2) On 11 June 2012, Morgan Stanley UK Group exceeded the threshold of 3% of
the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad
Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley UK Group held
3.94% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 5,449,714
voting rights. Of these voting rights, a proportion of 3.94% (equals
5,449,714 voting rights) is attributed to Morgan Stanley UK Group pursuant
to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (name of controlled undertaking:
Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc).

3) On 11 June 2012, Morgan Stanley Group (Europe) exceeded the threshold of
3% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad
Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley Group (Europe)
held 3.94% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 5,449,714
voting rights. Of these voting rights, a proportion of 3.94% (equals
5,449,714 voting rights) is attributed to Morgan Stanley Group (Europe)
pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (names of controlled
undertakings: Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc; Morgan Stanley UK
Group).

4) On 11 June 2012, Morgan Stanley International Limited exceeded the
threshold of 3% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite
1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley
International Limited held 3.94% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG
arising from 5,449,714 voting rights. Of these voting rights, a proportion
of 3.94% (equals 5,449,714 voting rights) is attributed to Morgan Stanley
International Limited pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG
(names of controlled undertakings: Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc;
Morgan Stanley UK Group; Morgan Stanley Group (Europe)).

5) On 11 June 2012, Morgan Stanley International Holdings Inc exceeded the
threshold of 3% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite
1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley
International Holdings Inc held 3.94% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM
AG arising from 5,449,714 voting rights. Of these voting rights, a
proportion of 3.94% (equals 5,449,714 voting rights) is attributed Morgan
Stanley International Holdings Inc pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1
no. 1 WpHG (names of controlled undertakings: Morgan Stanley & Co
International Plc; Morgan Stanley UK Group; Morgan Stanley Group (Europe);
Morgan Stanley International Limited).

6) On 11 June 2012, Morgan Stanley exceeded the threshold of 3% of the
voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt
a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Morgan Stanley held 4.03% of the voting
rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG arising from 5,568,769 voting rights. Of these
voting rights, a proportion of 4.03% (equals 5,568,769 voting rights) is
attributed Morgan Stanley pursuant to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG
(names of controlled undertakings: Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc;
Morgan Stanley UK Group; Morgan Stanley Group (Europe); Morgan Stanley
