B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft, Melsungen, Germany notified us
pursuant to section 25 para. 1 WpHG and pursuant to section 25a para. 1
WpHG of the following:

1) B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft, Melsungen, Germany notified us
pursuant to section 25 para. 1 WpHG of the following:
On 31 October 2013, B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the
threshold of 5% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, B.
Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft held 6.02% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 8,322,288 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 3,002% (equals 4,150,000 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 3.02% (equals 4,172,288 voting rights) is based on (financial
/ other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 0% (equals
0 voting rights) is held indirectly. The exercise period of the instruments
pursuant to section 25 WpHG is October 31, 2013 until November 6, 2013.

2) B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft, Melsungen, Germany notified us
pursuant to section 25a para. 1 WpHG of the following:
On 31 October 2013, B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the
threshold of 5% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, B.
Braun Melsungen Aktiengesllschaft held 6.02% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 8,323,288 voting rights.
From these voting rights a proportion of 3,002% (equals 4,150,000 voting
rights) is based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG and a
proportion of 3.02% (equals 4,172,288 voting rights) is based on (financial
/ other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From the voting rights
based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion of 0% (equals
0 voting rights) is held indirectly.
In addition, a proportion of 0.001% (equals 1,000 voting rights) is based
on (financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG. From the
voting rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG a
proportion of 0% (equals 0 voting rights) is held indirectly. The
instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG are sold put options ('Verkaufte
Put-Optionen') with expiration date 22 December 2014.
