Ad hoc-Notification pursuant to Section 15 (1) WpHG

Local Court of Schweinfurt decides on a suspension of the procedure to
register the deletion of the 90% clause

On 5 November 2013, the Local Court of Schweinfurt informed RHÖN-KLINIKUM
AG that it has decided on 30 October 2013 to suspend the procedure for
registration of the deletion of Section 17 (4), 1st sub-paragraph of the
articles of association resolved by the Annual General Meeting on 12 June
2013 (the 'Amendment'). In the opinion of the Company, no conclusions
regarding the result of the actions for voidance pending against the
resolution of the General Meeting to amend the articles of association can
be drawn from the suspension.

The Company is currently examining whether it will challenge the suspension
decision by way of an immediate appeal (sofortige Beschwerde). Such appeal
can only challenge the suspension decision and cannot address a particular
decision regarding the application for the registration of the Amendment.
The filing of the appeal does not have suspensive effect regarding the
suspension decision.
