pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG of the following:

1) Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG
of the following:

On 3 September 2012, Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA exceeded the threshold of 5%
of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1,
97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Fresenius SE & Co.
KGaA held 5.0000007% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM
Aktiengesellschaft (equals 6,911,601 voting rights).

2) Fresenius Management SE notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG
of the following:

On 3 September 2012, Fresenius Management SE exceeded the threshold of 5%
of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1,
97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Fresenius Management
SE held 5.0000007% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft
(equals 6,911,601 voting rights).

Of these voting rights, a proportion of 5.0000007% (equals 6,911,601 voting
rights) is attributed to Fresenius Management SE pursuant to section 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (name of controlled undertaking: Fresenius SE &
Co. KGaA).

3) Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung notified us pursuant to section 21 para.
1 WpHG of the following:

On 3 September 2012, Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung exceeded the threshold
of 5% of the voting rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Else
Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung held 5.0000007% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft (equals 6,911,601 voting rights).

Of these voting rights, a proportion of 5.0000007% (equals 6,911,601 voting
rights) is attributed to Else Kröner-Fresenius-Stiftung pursuant to section
22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (names of controlled undertakings: Fresenius
Management SE, Fresenius SE & Co. KGaA).
