Lüdicke, Germany, B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft, Melsungen, Germany
and Ilona Braun, Germany notified us pursuant to section 21 para. 1 WpHG of
the following:

1) On 27 November 2013, B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG exceeded the
threshold of 15% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, B.
Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG held 15.08% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 20,845,714 voting rights. Of
these voting rights, a proportion of 15,08% (equals 20,845,713 voting
rights) is attributed to B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG pursuant to section
22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (name of controlled undertaking: B. Braun
Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft).

2) On 27 November 2013, BraHo Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH exceeded the
threshold of 15% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
BraHo Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH held 15.08% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 20,845,714 voting rights. Of
these voting rights, a proportion of 15.08% (equals 20,845,714 voting
rights) is attributed to BraHo Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH pursuant to
section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (name of controlled undertaking: B.
Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG; B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft).

3) On 27 November 2013, Ludwig G. Braun GmbH & Co. KG exceeded the
threshold of 15% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
Ludwig G. Braun GmbH & Co. KG held 15.08% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 20,845,714 voting rights. Of
these voting rights, a proportion of 15.08% (equals 20,845,714 voting
rights) is attributed to Ludwig G. Braun GmbH & Co. KG pursuant to section
22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (name of controlled undertaking: B. Braun
Holding GmbH & Co. KG; B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft).

4) On 27 November 2013, Prof. Dr. h.c. Ludwig Georg Braun exceeded the
threshold of 15% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date,
Prof. Dr. h.c. Ludwig Georg Braun held 15.08% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 20,845,714 voting rights. Of
these voting rights, a proportion of 15.08% (equals 20,845,714 voting
rights) is attributed to Prof. Dr. h.c. Ludwig Georg Braun pursuant to
section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (names of controlled undertakings:
Ludwig G. Braun GmbH & Co. KG, B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG; B. Braun
Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft).

5) On 27 November 2013, Martin Lüdicke exceeded the threshold of 15% of the
voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1, 97616
Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Martin Lüdicke held 15.08%
of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from
20,845,714 voting rights. Of these voting rights, a proportion of 15.08%
(equals 20,845,714 voting rights) is attributed to Martin Lüdicke pursuant
to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (names of controlled undertakings:
BraHo Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH, B. Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG, B. Braun
Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft).

6) On 27 November 2013, B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft exceeded the
threshold of 15% of the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft,
Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, B.
Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft held 15.08% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from 20,845,713 voting rights 
which are held directly by B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft pursuant
to section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG.

7) On 27 November 2013, Ilona Braun exceeded the threshold of 15% of the
voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft, Schlossplatz 1, 97616
Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale, Germany. On that date, Ilona Braun held 15.08% of
the voting rights in RHÖN-KLINIKUM Aktiengesellschaft arising from
20,845,714 voting rights. Of these voting rights, a proportion of 15.08%
(equals 20,845,714 voting rights) is attributed to Ilona Braun pursuant to
section 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 1 WpHG (name of controlled undertaking: B.
Braun Holding GmbH & Co. KG; B. Braun Melsungen Aktiengesellschaft, BraHo
Verwaltungsgesellschaft mbH).
