Notification according to section 26 para. 1 WpHG 

UBS AG, Zürich, Switzerland, notified us on 21 June 2012 pursuant to
section 25a WpHG of the following:

On 15 June 2012, UBS AG fell below the threshold of 15% of the voting
rights of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Salzburger Leite 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a. d.
Saale, Germany. On that date, UBS AG held 14.18% of the voting rights in
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG (equals 19,597,175 voting rights).

From these voting rights a proportion of 4.70% (equals 6,500,000 voting
rights) is based on (financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a
WpHG. From these voting rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25a
WpHG a proportion of 0.00% (equals 0 voting rights) is held indirectly.

In addition, a proportion of 0.40% (equals 550,339 voting rights) is based
on (financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG. From these
voting rights based on instruments pursuant to section 25 WpHG a proportion
of 0.00% (equals 0 voting rights) is held indirectly.

In addition, a proportion of 9.08% (equals 12,546,836 voting rights) is
based on voting rights pursuant to sections 21, 22 WpHG.

The (financial/other) instruments pursuant to section 25a WpHG are
described as follows:
- 'Equity Swaps' (maturity 'at any time', expiration date 18 June 2012),
- 'Equity Swaps' (maturity 'at any time', expiration date 26 June 2012),
- 'Equity Swaps' (maturity 'at any time', expiration date 20 June 2012).
