- Increase in earnings forecast for 2006 as a result of one-off tax effect after the amendment of Section 37 Para. 5 German Corporation Tax Act (Körperschaftsteuergesetz, “KStG”)
RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG is raising its earnings forecast for financial year 2006 from EUR 93 million to EUR 106 million in accordance with the amended Section 37 Para. 5 KStG. The liquidity will accrue not in 2006 but in the period 2008 to 2017.
The increase results from the obligation, now introduced in connection with the current amendment of Section 37 Para. 5 KStG, for tax refund claims to be reflected at their present value.
Pursuant to the amended Section 37 Para. 5 KStG, tax refund claims resulting from past financial years are recognised through profit or loss as a claim to payment as at 31 December 2006 and will take effect once.
Rhön-Klinikum confirms its forecast for net consolidated profit of EUR 100 million for 2007.
