2. Medical Accounting
Medical accounting is the financial counterpart to quality management. It has developed into an essential interface between business management and medicine, and combines medical know-how with financial performance data. Medical accountants are internal consultants to the medical and administrative departments who therefore also determine the reliability of many of our Group’s quality indicators. That is why we consolidated medical accounting and conventional quality management, which has resulted in significant improvements in both sub-categories.
In operational medical accounting, the services provided to each individual patient are recorded and documented, and this documentation is then monitored. In this way, we create the basis for correct service billing and a solid information base for budget negotiations with the payers.
