The following notification is made in the names of Threadneedle Asset Management Limited and Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings Limited, both with registered seat at London, United Kingdom. 

Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings Limited is the parent company of Threadneedle Asset Management Limited. 

The share of voting stocks of the above mentioned companies in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a.d.Saale, Germany, went below the threshold of 5 % of the total voting stocks of the company on 18 February 2009. 

The percentage of voting rights of Threadneedle Asset Management Limited in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a.d.Saale, Germany, at 18 February 2009 amounted to 4.989 % (5,172,818 shares). These voting rights are in their entirety attributable to Threadneedle Asset Management Limited pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6 WpHG. 

The percentage of voting rights of Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings Limited in RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, Schlossplatz 1, 97616 Bad Neustadt a.d.Saale, Germany, at 18 February 2009 amounted to 4.995 % (5,179,189 shares). These voting rights are in their entirety attributable to Threadneedle Asset Management Holdings Limited pursuant to § 22 para. 1 sent. 1 No. 6, sent. 2 and sent. 3 WpHG.
